Hello there!

Like Wallace, I'm sure you enjoy the thrill of a victory and the sweet honor gains! Today we talk about "One Troop" Marches and how they can help you secure that win!

How do you set up your "one troop" march?

Simply create a march with only 1 immortal and don't refill it - don't check the Auto circle. The lower the power, the better. Here i'm using Lvl 1 Immortals without any boosts or skills. These marches will be used in PvP situations to grant you that extra advantage you might need to be victorious! We'll get more into it along the post!

Why are "one troop" marches valuable?

In Infinity Kingdom you have Lord Talents. These are unlocked through increase of Lord Level. These Talents provide you a multiple array of tools, offensive and defensive, and can play a huge part in how a fight goes.

There are Defence talents like : Body of Steel, Might of Longbow and Energy Burst that can be used when your city is under attack, and these can be BURNED. Stay with me, i'll tell you how!

To use these talents, first you need to have them selected (like shown in the Talent page). Once they are activated and ready to use - click your city and "check" the talent you want to load. The act of "loading" a talent means that in the next city defence the talent will be used.

This is where "one troop" marches come in play!

If a player loads a defence talent it will automatically be used (if it stays loaded) on the next defence. The talents mentioned above always activate in a defence, doesn't matter if you win or lose. So let's imagine you are fighting a equally powerful enemy , 1vs1 situation.

Send in a "one troop" march, this will check if he garrisons your attack and check if he has defence talents loaded up. If he does...well, your "one troop" march just burned one of the talent charges for free!

Some people might de-garrison if you scout them in order to trick you - so an actual attack is a much much better scout.

Also, some enemies might be more inclined to attack you when you are attacking them, so by sending your "one troop" march you make sure you can garrison your city with your main.

In the report below you see my one troop march burning a "Body of Steel" talent, , with minimal troop casualties and also minimal honor given to the opponent. Repeat this process and you will make sure that when your Main March hits, there aren't any talents to swing the fight in his favour!

However, you can't just send your one troop march 10 times in a row to bash their heads into the enemies walls. A clever opponent will just unload his talents and save them for when it's actually needed. You need to MIX IT UP!

Moves and counter moves, mind games are a big part of IK PvP.

What you want to do is keep them guessing. Every attack can be real, every attack can be fake. This can be quite AP demanding, but in the end - it will guarantee you better chances of winning! In the mail list below every battle defeat is a "one troop march" fake attack and then the victories are me mixing it up with my main march. With a little help from an attacking talent, i was able to secure these 2 wins vs a stronger enemy!

Finally, there is an additional defence talent, called "Aid", used by Pikachu in the report above. Aid plays no part in the fight outcome and it's only activated in a City Defence Defeat - so your "one troop" march can't burn this one.

Hopefully this information can help you score those crucial and very, very satisfying 1v1 victories! Use it wisely, use it unpredictably!

TL DR: "One troop" marches serve a great purpose when it comes to baiting talents and deceiving your enemy in combat. You can take advantage of this situation by mixing things up and shifting the tide in your favour.

This is all for today! Stay tuned for the next "Tips and Tricks".

Happy Baiting!
